Who we are

Zela is operated by Zela.pro Limited, a company registered in Nigeria. We provide tools for content creators to build a profile, sell products, accept brand deals, and get paid, plus a marketplace where creators and brands find each other.

Your account

You can sign up if you are at least 13 years old. If you are between 13 and 18 (or under your local age of majority), you confirm that you have a parent or guardian's permission.

You're responsible for everything that happens under your account. Use a strong password, enable 2FA when we offer it, and don't share your login.

If we suspect fraud, abuse, or activity that breaks these terms, we can suspend your account. We'll tell you why and give you a way to respond.

Your content

Everything you upload — your profile, your store products, your brand-kit content — stays yours. We do not claim ownership of your work.

By posting content, you grant Zela a limited license to host, display, and route that content so the product can function. This license ends when you delete the content or your account.

You must own (or have permission to use) everything you post. If we receive a credible takedown request, we may remove the content while we investigate.

Payments and payouts

Zela charges a percentage of each transaction (5% on Free, 3% on Marketplace Pro). Marketplace Pro is an optional monthly subscription priced in your local currency.

Funds you receive sit in your Zela Wallet until you cash out. Cash-out fees, rates, and timing are shown before you confirm any withdrawal.

If a buyer disputes a charge or a brand contests a deliverable, we may temporarily hold the disputed amount in escrow while we investigate. We follow our published dispute policy in good faith.

What we don't allow

No fraud, money laundering, terrorism financing, or violation of sanctions. We screen for this and we report what we have to report.

No content that is illegal where you or your audience live. No CSAM, no incitement to violence, no impersonation, no harassment.

No products or services that violate our acceptable-use policy. The full list lives in the help center, but if you're not sure, ask first.

Termination

You can cancel anytime from settings. Your profile, your store, and your wallet stay accessible during a 30-day window in case you change your mind, then everything except records we have to keep for tax and compliance is permanently deleted.

We may terminate accounts that violate these terms or that have been inactive for an extended period (after multiple warnings).

Limitations

Zela is provided as-is. We do not warrant uninterrupted service. We try hard to keep things working but we can't promise zero downtime.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event that caused the liability. This doesn't override your statutory consumer rights where applicable.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email and on the changelog at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after that means you accept the updated terms.
