Zela
About Zela

Built by creators. For creators.

Zela is the warm home for creators who turn their content into a business. Built out of Lagos, used in 38 countries, owned by no one but us.

The Zela team in their Lagos office

Our story.

We started Zela because we kept watching brilliant creators in Lagos, Accra, Manila, and São Paulo run circles around their peers in New York and London on content, then get paid a fraction of what their work was worth.

The problem wasn't talent. The problem was infrastructure. Western creators had Stripe, Substack, Patreon, Linktree, Beacons, Gumroad. Most creators we knew were trying to do it all out of a Notion page and a USDT wallet.

Zela is the alternative we wished existed. Profile, store, deals, wallet, brand kit, all in one place. Built for the way creators actually work outside of Silicon Valley.

We're a small team in Lagos, and we're creators too. We ship fast, we listen, and we're building this for the next decade, not the next quarter.

How we build.

Built for the rest of the world.

Most creator tools are built for the US first, with English support and dollar payouts only. We do the opposite. Naira, Real, Peso, Rupiah, local rails, then USD.

Free is actually free.

Every core tool is free forever, no card, no trial wall. We make money when you make money, not when you sign up.

Creators own their audience.

Your followers, your contacts, your data, your terms. Export it any time. If we ever go away, you keep everything.

Ship in public.

Public changelog, public roadmap, founders in the help center. No fake politeness, no enterprise theater.
